Our story

We started with one stubborn problem.

Replying to email meant re-reading everything, then scribbling answers in blue inside someone else's message. We thought that was ridiculous. So we built a better way — right inside Gmail.

Local by conviction

Your emails never leave your browser. No AI, no servers — privacy is the default, not a setting.

Small, sharp gestures

Highlight, tag, reply. Three moves that turn a wall of text into a clear answer.

Built to stay simple

You keep Gmail. We just make the part you dread — replying — feel effortless.

Our mission

Give people back the quiet of a clear inbox.

We believe the tools you use every day should feel calm, fast and completely yours. Tagada exists to make email answering obvious — mark what matters, sort it, and send a clean reply — without ever handing your words to a machine in the cloud.

No dashboards to learn. No inbox to migrate. Just Gmail, made lighter.

The journey

From BondInbox to Tagada.

Every tool has a first draft. Here's how a rough prototype grew into the extension thousands of inboxes now rely on.

  1. 22 2022

    BondInbox — the first prototype

It began as a scrappy experiment with one goal: make answering email faster. We called it BondInbox, shipped it to a handful of people, and watched what stuck.

    Prototype launched

  2. 23 2023

First real users, first real lessons

We refined BondInbox around how people actually reply — highlighting, sorting, sending — and welcomed our first paying users. The demand for a calmer inbox was very real.

  3. 24 2024

    BondInbox becomes Tagada

A new name, a sharper focus, a fully local-first rebuild. BondInbox grew up into Tagada: the same idea, now living quietly inside Gmail with no AI and no cloud.

    Reborn as Tagada

The team behind it

Made by CAMINA, from Cannes.

Tagada is built and operated by CAMINA, a small independent studio based in Cannes, on the French Riviera. We're a tight team that cares about privacy, craft, and software that respects your attention.
